Esri provides all hardware, software, and course materials used in class. Coffee and tea are available a the training center's break area. You may want to bring a light sweater.

No, audio and video recording is not permissible in Esri training classes.

Classes usually start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.  Short morning and afternoon breaks are scheduled based on the pace of the class and there is a one-hour lunch break. 

A MOOC refers to a Massive Open Online Course. Esri MOOCs:

• Cover a single theme or topic
• Allow students to study whenever they have time, at their own pace
• Encourage students to learn from one another
• Include videos, exercises, discussions, quizzes, polls and surveys
• Provide free access to the latest Esri software for the duration of the course
• Involve four to six weeks of instruction, with a minimum of two-three hours per week of study
• Require registration but are free to take
• Have firm start and end dates
• Provide certificates to students who complete the course material
• Introduce students to subject matter experts from across Esri and its community

You can sign up for a MOOC any time while registration is open. Go to the MOOC description page in the Training catalog and click the Register button. If registration is closed, you can join the waiting list to be notified when registration opens for the next offering.

Once registered, the MOOC is added to your My Schedule page, which is where you access the course when it is open. We recommend adding the MOOC offering dates to your personal calendar to ensure you have plenty of time to complete the course.

All MOOC participants are provided with free access to the Esri software needed to complete course exercises. Instructions for accessing the software are provided in the first section of the course.

Each MOOC has different system requirements. Refer to the Software section on the course catalog page for the MOOC you are interested in attending.

Students who complete the course in its entirety before the course closes, will receive a certificate of completion. Certificates are listed on your My Learning Activity page.
