Celebrating GIS Excellence on GIS DAYs!
GIS Day is an annual event celebrating geographic information systems based technologies on the third Wednesday of every November. The event first took place in 1999 in Redlands and continued to spread till it became an annual celebration for GIS enthusiasts across the globe! At Esri North Africa; we celebrate this very special day not only once per year but once per month. We continue to celebrate GIS DAYs all over the year in collaboration with our partners, customers, universities to spread the knowledge as much as we can, share succeses and recognize the amazing achievements of our clients.

Storytelling for a Better World
Esri North Africa is inviting the GIS community in Egypt, Sudan, South Sudan, Libya and Chad to join its ArcGIS Storymap competition! You are invited to tell a story about the world you want to see! This is the 2nd round of our Storymaps competition and we can't wait to see the beautiful stories you'll create and publish using ArcGIS Storymaps. If you have a story to tell, contribute your voice to the global storytelling conversation and join the Esri NA competition
Empowering the Youth Through the committed efforts of our team, Esri NA initiates and supports a wide array of broad-reaching GIS activities that empower the GIS community and support young GIS professionals many different ways. Activities include organizing GIS DAYs, GIS cometitions, sponsoring GIS events, participating in job fairs, conducting summer internship at our authorized training center and on campus, signing educational agreements to colaborate with educational institutions, offering free licenses, training the trainers and much more

Ensuring that Esri technology is made available to government Universities and the Startup Communities in the country.
